Wow...Unit 1702 at The Carlyle just closed for $2.1 million - that's $638 per sq. ft.!  This 3br/3ba unit (a combination of the "Thoreau" and "Twain" units) was impressively upgraded & decorated, however, had only 9' ceilings and 2 standard balconies, unlike the Masterpiece Homes above the 30th floor, which have 10' ceilings and larger balconies.

This is another sign that the premium condo market is still very healthy.
